On Saturday 6th July, Affinity dancers from across the South Hams took to the stage at Kingsbridge Community College to showcase their talents to a sell out audience of friends and family for our end of term Summer Showcase.
“I was incredibly proud of all the students for their hard work in preparation for the show and it was fantastic to see each student dance with such confidence on the stage!”
- Faye (Dance Teacher and Founder of Affinity Dance South Hams)
Students aged 3-16 from many local schools were involved in the showcase including, Stoke Fleming Primary, St John the Baptist, Dartmouth Academy, Blackawton, Stokenham, Kingsbridge Primary, KCC, Thurlestone, Aveton Gifford, Malborough and Modbury!
Parent Claire said, "I feel Faye has supported the girls to develop confidence in their bodies capability & we have seen a lot of progress in their ability & skills over just a few months. Watching them at the show recently was an eye opener & we felt very proud!”

Last term saw students from classes in Kingsbridge, Stoke Fleming and Dartmouth come together to share their hard work with friends and family at Dartmouth Academy! It was amazing to see the students support each other from the ages of 3-16!
I am so proud of all the dancers who participated! Also a huge THANK YOU to all the kind helpers, who worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was safe and happy throughout, to my lovely friend Charli at Wolfling PR who supplied eco-friendly glitter and to Dartmouth Academy for letting us hold the event there!
Keep dancing!

In the lead up to Christmas, dancers attending classes in Stoke Fleming worked really hard preparing dances for a performance to friends and family at their local theatre to finish the term. It was a great success with a lot of proud relatives watching on! Also, a big well done to Eira who performed her first ever solo!
As a qualified Acrobatic Arts teacher I am really excited to offer their syllabus to my pupils. Here is what Cirque du Soleil Acrobat, Tyler Ayres said about the Acrobatic Arts: "Never have I been so excited
about something that helps
students achieve their dreams
of being that triple threat
dancer. The Acrobatic Arts
Syllabus makes learning
acrobatics for dancers fun,
safe and conducive to a strong
career in the entertainment
industry.
The Acrobatic Arts App is easy
to use and forward thinking,
bringing the syllabus to life.
Great job Acrobatic Arts!”
