On Saturday 6th July, Affinity dancers from across the South Hams took to the stage at Kingsbridge Community College to showcase their talents to a sell out audience of friends and family for our end of term Summer Showcase.

Students aged 3-16 from many local schools were involved in the showcase including, Stoke Fleming Primary, St John the Baptist, Dartmouth Academy, Blackawton, Stokenham, Kingsbridge Primary, KCC, Thurlestone, Aveton Gifford, Malborough and Modbury!
Parent Claire said, "I feel Faye has supported the girls to develop confidence in their bodies capability & we have seen a lot of progress in their ability & skills over just a few months. Watching them at the show recently was an eye opener & we felt very proud!”

Last term saw students from classes in Kingsbridge, Stoke Fleming and Dartmouth come together to share their hard work with friends and family at Dartmouth Academy! It was amazing to see the students support each other from the ages of 3-16!

Also a huge THANK YOU to all the kind helpers, who worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was safe and happy throughout, to my lovely friend Charli at Wolfling PR who supplied eco-friendly glitter and to Dartmouth Academy for letting us hold the event there!

In the lead up to Christmas, dancers attending classes in Stoke Fleming worked really hard preparing dances for a performance to friends and family at their local theatre to finish the term. It was a great success with a lot of proud relatives watching on! Also, a big well done to Eira who performed her first ever solo!
Last term, dancers from Affinity Dance South Hams Stoke Fleming classes worked incredibly hard learning and rehearsing routines for their first Freestyle exams. An examiner from the International Dance Teaching Association travelled down to Devon for their exam day. Their hard work paid off as all the dancers achieved fantastic exam results, with every student achieving Highly Commended recognition! I am so proud of every dancer for the determination and hard work they have shown throughout our dance classes! Well done!
